Reflective Hub was born from a longing—not just for stories, but for voices. Founder Seth Henderson spent years reflecting on the people who shaped his life, many of whom are no longer here. He often found himself wishing he could hear their voices again—not for what they said, but for how they said it. The tone. The laughter. The honesty. The quiet pauses that carried whole worlds of meaning. Among those voices, one stands above the rest: Gary Weaver. In the early days of his career, Seth moved to Washington, D.C. for an internship—young, eager, and unsure. Gary and his family welcomed him into their home without hesitation. More than just a host, Gary became a guide, a mentor, and eventually, the father figure Seth never had. Their bond was genuine and lasting. They shared meals, deep conversations, and the kind of gentle, consistent encouragement that stays with you for a lifetime. Gary passed away in 2017, but his impact never left. His wisdom still echoes in Seth’s decisions, his leadership, and his dreams. It was this loss—and the realization of how much living wisdom disappears with each generation—that sparked the idea for Reflective Hub.
Reflective Hub exists to honor the voices of those who’ve lived long, full lives.
We ask just three questions—deep, timeless, human—and let people aged 65 and older share their reflections. The result is a growing digital library of life lessons, preserved for future generations. A place where anyone, anywhere, can sit with the voices of those who came before us. We believe that wisdom shouldn’t vanish. It should be passed down, shared, and cherished. Through each interview, we’re not just preserving stories—we’re preserving the people behind them. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
This is more than a project. It’s a living archive of humanity.
Your donation doesn’t just support a project. It helps preserve a legacy. Thank you for helping us inspire the future with the wisdom of the past.
